You’ll Need
150g of 100% cotton yarn (200m/50g) in violet color;
Odds of black and orange yarn (100% cotton; 320m/75g);
Odds of white yarn;
Crochet hook 2.25.
Size
4-5 years.
Instructions
Back
Make 80 chain sts and 4 rows of rib due to the scheme 1. Then, work with double crochets. Make arm-holes and neck-hole according to the pattern design.
Front
Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole.
Eyes
Make 5 chain sts with white yarn and circle them in the ring. Work according to the scheme 2. Make the pupil with black yarn according to the scheme 2, but only 2 rows.
Beak
Work according to the scheme 3 with orange yarn. Fasten the edges with “shrimp stitch.”
Assembly
Sew eyes and beak to the front, as shown in the photo. Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten arm-holes and neck-hole with single crochets.
