- Color B, orange (beak/feet) - 8.75 yards (8 meters) to be worked double-stranded
- Color C, light green (body) - 24 yards (22 meters) to be worked double-stranded
- Color D, white (eyes) - 4.3 yards (4 meters) to be worked single-stranded
- Color E, black (eye detail) - 1 yard (1 meter) to be worked single-stranded
- Crochet hook: 4.5mm (7) for the coaster, 3.5mm (E/4) for the eyes

Finished Size
These owl coasters measure about 4 inches (10 cm) wide - this does not include the wings and is about 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) long.
Gauge
The gauge for this pattern is the first two rounds of the pattern should measure about 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) in diameter, using two strands of yarn and a 4.5mm hook.
