How to Crochet Adorable Roses

Crocheting adorable roses can be a delightful and rewarding experience, perfect for adding a touch of charm to any project you have in mind. Materials
This pattern uses a 2 mm hook and 4 ply wool. It is written in American crochet notation. The finished rose is approximately 5 cm across.
Instructions
With Green Wool
Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6 stitches)
Round 2: increase in every stitch (12 stitches)
Round 3: sc in the first stitch, increase in the next stitch – repeat (18 stitches)
Round 4: sc in the first two stitches, increase in the next stitch – repeat (24 stitches)
Round 5: sc in the first three stitches, increase in the next stitch – repeat (30 stitches)
Round 6: sc in each stitch (30 stitches)
Round 7: sc in the first three stitches, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (24 stitches)
Round 8: sc in the first two stitches, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (18 stitches)
Round 9: sc in the first stitch, decrease the next two stitches together – repeat (12 stitches)
Stuff
Round 10: decrease around (6 stitches)
Rounds 11 onwards: sc around for however long you want the stem to be. If you would like the stem to stand up you’ll need to put something stiff in it and stuff it.
Petals
Attach wool near the magic ring.
Make a Small Petal
Sc in two stitches, turn (2 stitches)
Increase in those two stitches, turn (4 stitches)
Sc in each stitch (4 stitches)
Slip stitch down the side of the petal, slip stitch one stitch along
Make three more small petals.
Medium Petal
Sc in three stitches, turn (3 stitches)
Increase, sc, increase (5 stitches)
Increase, 3 sc, increase (7 stitches)
Decrease two stitches together, 3 sc, decrease the last two stitches together (5 stitches)
Decrease two stitches together, sc, decrease the last two stitches together (3 stitches)
Make seven medium petals in total.
Large Petal
Sc in four stitches, turn (4 stitches)
Increase, 2 sc, increase (6 stitches)
Increase, 4 sc, increase (8 stitches)
Sc in each stitch (8 stitches)
Decrease two stitches together, 4 sc, decrease two stitches together (6 stitches)
Decrease two stitches together, 2 sc, decrease two stitches together (4 stitches)
(Decrease two stitches together) x 2 (2 stitches)
Total of 5 large petals.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
