Materials
Red Heart Super Saver-4ply worsted weight
(I used a small amount of five different colors... entire square uses less than 1 ounce of yarn)
Mix and match colors depending on your scrap yarn colors.
Hook Size H/8 5.00MM
Stitches
ch, sc, sl st.
Difficulty Level
Medium
Motif (Make 9)
RND 1: Ch6, sc in the second ch from the hook. Sc in ea rem ch.
RNDs 2-5: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea st.
Border
Ch1, do not turn. Sc evenly around the motif placing 3sc in ea corner. Join with a sl st.
-RIGHT SIDE-
Fasten off.
Assembly Instructions
Lay out squares in a 3x3 grid as in the photo with right sides facing the same way.
Holding two squares together with right sides facing, sc through the outer loops of corresponding sts.
Continue until all squares are joined in a nine patch design.
Sc evenly around the entire square placing 3sc in ea corner.
Fasten off.
