• CH – chain
• SC – single crochet
• HDC – half double crochet
• DC – double crochet
• TRC – treble crochet
• sl.st. – slip stitch

How to Crochet Stars

Ch 4 and join with sl st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (count as 1 DC), 14 DC in the ring, join with sl st to the top of ch 3.

Round 2: (Ch 6, SC in second CH from hook, HDC in next chain, DC in next, TRC in next two, skip next 2 DC on round 1, slip stitch in next DC) x repeat 5 times. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Ch 6 and join with sl st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (count as 1 DC), 1 DC in ring, (CH 3, 3 DC in ring) x 4 times, CH 3, 1 DC, join with sl st to top of ch 3.

Round 2: Ch 1 (count as 1 SC), (3 DC in CH-3 space, CH 3, 3 DC in same CH-3 space, 1 SC in the middle DC of first round) x repeat 5 times around, ending by sl st into starting SC.

Ch 6 and join with sl st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (count as 1 DC), 9 DC in ring, join with sl st to top of ch 3.

Round 2: (Ch 2, DC in next DC of first round, CH-3 picot, 2 SC in DC of second round, slip stitch to next DC of first round) x repeat 5 times. Finish off.
