Crochet a Stylish Garment for Kids Aged 4-5


You’ll Need:
200g of woolen yarn with viscose addition in burgundy color;
100g of the same yarn, but in red color;
100g of the same yarn, but in pink color;

5 buttons.

Stitch Control:
15 stitches = 10 cm.
Note:
Make as one-piece work.
Instructions:
Make 65 chain stitches and work according to Scheme 1, alternating the colors of yarn in every row in the following order: burgundy, red, pink. At a height of 36 cm, divide your work into 3 parts for cuts in the following way: the first and last 42 stitches and central 281 stitches. Continue the work of all the parts separately, ensuring to make increases. At a height of 50 cm, be mindful that the last row should be pink, and finish your work.
Assembly:
Fasten the edges of the cuts with 1 row of single crochets using burgundy yarn. Fasten the lower edge of the work with burgundy yarn according to Scheme 2, and connect all the details together.
Fasten the edges of the front with 6 rows of single crochets, ensuring that the last 5 rows are fastened with single crochets through the back loop using burgundy yarn.
Make 8 rows according to Scheme 1 along the neck-hole using burgundy yarn for the collar, leaving free plackets for fasteners. Then, make the last row according to Scheme 2 and place “beads” in the corners. Sew the buttons to the left front, using the holes in the pattern as button-holes.
