Knitting with Grey Mixed Content Yarn: Patterns and Instructions


You’ll need:
100g of grey mixed content yarn (200m/50g);
50g of the same yarn, but dark-grey color;
Double-pointed knitting needles size 2.5.
Used Patterns
- 2 x 2 rib;
- Stockinette stitch: all knit stitches;
- Relief pattern: follow schemes A, B, C. In even rows, all stitches and yarn overs are knit stitches.
Stitches Control
- Stockinette stitch: 30 stitches x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
- Relief pattern: 26 stitches x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 72 stitches with grey yarn and turn to circular knitting, dividing all the stitches onto 4 knitting needles – 18 stitches on each needle. Then, make 10 rows of ribbing, 1 row of knit stitches, and 12 cm with the relief pattern according to scheme A (finish with the 6th or 12th row of the scheme). Follow with 5 rows of ribbing. Change to dark-grey yarn. Make 1 row of knit stitches, then 5 rows of ribbing, followed by 12 cm of relief pattern – scheme B, and 5 rows of ribbing. Turn back to grey yarn. Create 1 row of knit stitches, 5 rows of ribbing, 1 row of knit stitches, followed by 12 cm of relief pattern – scheme C (finish with the 8th or 16th rows of the scheme), and complete with 10 rows of ribbing. Bind off the stitches.
