Crochet Dress Pattern with 100% Cotton Yarn

You'll Need:

550-600g of 100% cotton yarn;

Crochet hooks 3 and 3.5;

2 buttons Ø12 mm.

Main Pattern:

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 8 + 2 stitches. Work according to scheme 1. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

"Net" Pattern:

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 4 + 1 stitch. Work according to scheme 2. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows once, then repeat 2nd-3rd rows;

Stitches Control:

Main pattern with crochet hook 3.5: 29 stitches of the set-up row x 9.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Main pattern with crochet hook 3: 31 stitches of the set-up row x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

"Net" pattern with crochet hook 3.5: 24.5 stitches of the set-up row x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Front:

Make 130; 146 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with crochet hook 3.5. Make the main pattern on these stitches. At 35 cm height, switch to crochet hook 3.

At 64 cm, leave 0.5 pattern repeat from both sides for armholes unfinished and 0.5 pattern repeat x 2 in every following row, then 0.5 pattern repeat in a row and 0.5 pattern repeat x 3 in every 4th row. At 87 cm height, finish your work.

Back:

Make in the same way as the front. The only difference is the cut. For this, divide work in half at 64 cm height and finish each part separately.

Laces:

Make 4 such details. Start working with crochet hook 3.5. Make 37 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Crochet "net" pattern, making stitches before pattern repeat (0.5 pattern repeat), 9 pattern repeats, and after pattern repeat (0.5 pattern repeat).

At 49 cm from the 1st row, leave 0.5 unfinished pattern repeat from both sides and 0.5 pattern repeat x 7 times. At 79 cm height, finish your work.

Assembly:

Sew up the sides, and sew 2 laces from both sides from the side of the set-up row. Place the first lace at 26 cm from the bottom part of the dress, second - with a 6 cm throw.

Sew shoulder at the following distance:

• For size S: 0.5 pattern repeat = 1.5 cm;
• For size M: 1.5 pattern repeats = 4 cm.

You'll get a band-collar by means of fastening the remaining stitches of the neck-hole with the main pattern for 7 cm height.

Fasten neck-hole and armholes around with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of shrimp stitch.

For button-holes, skip 1 cm from the edge at upper and bottom parts and make 2 chain stitches.

Sew the buttons.
