How to Knit a Stylish Mélange Soleil Dress



You’ll need:
300g of mélange Soleil yarn (100% polyamide; 125m/50g);
100g of black yarn (47% cotton, 53% viscose; 400m/100g);
Knitting needles 2.5 and 5;
Crochet hook 2.5.
Size: M.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 82 sts with knitting needles 5 using mélange yarn and work with stockinette stitch. At 80 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st from both sides for arm-holes. At 85 cm height, bind off sts.
Front
Make in the same way as back.
Straps
Cast on 20 sts with knitting needles 2.5 using black yarn and work with stockinette stitch to 15 cm height. Bind off sts. Make 2 such details.
Back Yoke
Cast on 100 sts with knitting needles 2.5 using black yarn and make 15 cm in height, then bind off sts.
Assembly
Make side seams, sew yoke to back, and attach straps to the front of the dress. Complete shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets using mélange yarn. Lastly, fasten the bottom of the dress with black yarn.
