Lace Pattern

(32 sts wide): due to the scheme 1. Make 1st-9th rows x once, then repeat 2nd-9th rows x 10 (11) 12 times, 2nd-3rd rows x once.

Main Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 3 + 2 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 2. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows.

Stitches Control:

  • Lace pattern: 32 sts x 9 rows = 20 x 10 cm;
  • Main pattern: 18 sts x 7.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Placket

Make 32 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with lace pattern. In 100 cm = 91 rows (110 cm = 99 rows) 120 cm = 107 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. Make 1 row of single crochets along left long edge (from WS), make 44 (49) 53 single crochets in the first 22 (24) 26 rows (= right front), make 89 (98) 107 single crochets on the next 46 (50) 54 rows (= back) and make 44 (49) 53 single crochets in the last 23 (25) 27 rows (= left front), increase 1 (0) 1 chain st to the center of front and join your work with 1 slip st in the ring = 178 (196) 214 sts.

Back

Make 89 (98) 107 single crochets. In 13.5 cm = 10 rows (17 cm = 13 rows) 20 cm = 15 rows from placket, leave 9 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 71 (80) 89 sts. In 36 cm = 27 rows (41 cm = 31 rows) 46.5 cm = 35 rows from placket, finish your work.

Front

Make 89 (98) 107 single crochets. In 29.5 cm = 22 rows (34.5 cm = 26 rows) 40 cm = 30 rows from placket, leave the central 21 (24) 27 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, leave 3 x 3 sts in every row from inwards. Finish your work at the height of back.

Sleeves

Make shoulder seams; make 80 (86) 95 single crochets along each arm-hole, then work with the main pattern. In 5.5 cm = 4 rows from the beginning of sleeve, leave 3 sts from both sides for sleeve chamfers, then make 3 x 1 st in every row and 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 44 (50) 59 sts. In 41.5 cm = 31 rows from the beginning of sleeve, divide your work in half for cut and finish both sides separately. In 54.5 cm = 41 rows from the beginning of sleeve, finish your work.

Collar

Make 26 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for the right half and work with lace pattern to arrow A. In 55.5 cm = 50 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. For the left half, make 20 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 24 cm = 18 rows (26 cm = 20 rows) 29 cm = 22 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly:

Make side and sleeve seams. Sew collar and turn it. Sew 4 buttons to the left half of collar, placket, and sleeves.
