How to Crochet a Beautiful Child's Bonnet

You'll Need:
1 skein of Lanoso Alara yarn (50% acryl, 50% cotton; 140m/50g);
Crochet hook size 3;
Markers;
Scissors.
Instructions
Start crocheting with 2 chain stitches.
The Rows
1st Row: Make 6 single crochets in the 2nd stitch from the crochet hook.
2nd Row: Start with 3 chain stitch increases, then make 2 double crochets in each stitch.
3rd Row: Increase in every second stitch: 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in 1 stitch, repeat, and make 3 double crochets in the last stitch.
4th Row: Make 2 double crochets in every 3rd stitch. Finish with 3 double crochets in the last stitch.
5th Row: Make 3 double crochets in every 4th stitch, 1 double crochet in every out of 3 stitches, then make 3 double crochets in the 4th stitch until the end of the row.
6th Row: Create 3 double crochets in every 5th stitch. Slip 7 last stitches of the row and mark them.
Creating the Neckline
Crochet these 7 stitches of the row with half-crochet, making an increase in the middle (3 half crochets in the 4th stitch).
These 7 stitches aren't used in crocheting, so you'll need to turn your work.
7th Row: Follow the scheme: make 3 chain stitch increases, 1 double crochet in the base of these chain stitches, slip 3 chain stitches, 4 double crochets in the 4th stitch, 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, slip 2 stitches, 1 double crochet, 2 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the same stitch. Repeat these actions until the end of the row.
Start each row with 3 chain stitch increases. Make 9 rows with the ornament.
After completing 9 rows of ornament, turn your work to crochet the next row along the neckline, using those 7 stitches crocheted with half crochets.
Fasten the edge with 1 row of double crochets to form a smooth "rib" at the neckline.
Fasten the yarn, cut it, and hide the ends.
Making the Straps
Cut a length of yarn approximately 150-180 cm, folded twice, and insert into the ends of the child's bonnet.
If you choose not to use beads for decoration, simply create chain stitches to the end of the yarn and fasten it, repeating this process for the other strap.
If you want to decorate your bonnet with beads, string any quantity of beads with a thinner crochet hook onto one or both threads.
Then, bind them into the chain of chain stitches, catching the yarn in front of each bead while tightly pulling the yarn during the chain stitch process.
