Knitting Instructions for a Stylish Children's Hat







You'll Need:
34g of sectional coloring yarn «Adelia ZENA» (100% acryl, 308m/100g);
Long or circular knitting needles 2.5;
Tapestry needles;
Scissors.
Specifications
Head Circumference: 49-50 cm.
Age: 2-3.5 years.
Stitches Control: 10 cm - 18 sts.
Instructions
Selvedge sts - slip the 1st selvedge st, make last as purl.
At first, make a sample of rib and stockinette stitch 10 x 10 cm.
Make 90 sts with selvedge sts. The quantity of sts without selvedge sts should be multiplied by 4. Leave a long "tail" to make back seam.
Make 4 cm with 2 x 2 rib - 14 rows.
Then, knit to the needed height with stockinette stitch. Knit 15-16 cm, the total height of your hat should be 19-20 cm (including 3 cm for flap).
Bind off the sts. Sew with the "tail" the sides of your hat with kitchener stitch. Now, you need to make upper seam, attaching the new yarn. Hide the threads.
