How to Crochet a Beautiful Shawl with Olive and White Yarn

You’ll Need:
400g of olive yarn (75% viscose, 25% cotton; 360m/100g);
50g of the same yarn, but in white color;
Crochet hook size 3.
Size:
170 x 20 cm.
Instructions:
Make a chain of 170 cm long.
Row Instructions:
1st Row: 2 chain sts increase, * double crochet, 1 chain st, skip 1 base st*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet;
2nd Row: * 5 chain sts, skip 3 base sts, single crochets above crochets of the previous row*; repeat from * to *, 5 chain sts, half crochet to the last st of the row;
3rd Row: 2 half crochets above 2 chain sts, single crochet on 3rd chain st, * 5 chain sts, single crochets*, 5 chain sts, half crochet above 3rd st of the last chain of 5 chain sts of the previous row.
Repeating Rows:
Repeat the 3rd row, making 1 arch fewer in every subsequent row.
Finishing the Shawl:
After there is one chain of 5 chain sts left, fasten the shawl in the following way along the wide side:
1st Row: single crochets with white yarn;
2nd Row: single crochets with green yarn.
Work on the Other Side:
Work in the following way along the other sides with white yarn:
1st Row: 3 double crochets above every double crochet of the previous row;
2nd Row: arches of 7 chain sts above 3 double crochets, single crochet between “fans”.
