How to Crochet a Stylish Skirt and Top Set Using Olive 100% Cotton Yarn

You’ll Need:

500g of olive 100% cotton yarn (150m/25g);

Crochet hook 2.5;

Back

Start with the skirt, which consists of 63 modules in 7 rows of 9 motifs. Make 93 chain sts in 2 threads of yarn, and create modules starting from the 4^th chain st from the crochet hook due to the following:

1^st row of modules: work according to the scheme. When you finish the 1^st row of modules, cut and fasten the yarn;

2^nd row of modules: join the yarn at the 1^st chain st increase and make it in the same way as the 1^st row of modules; at the beginning of the 5^th row, join the yarn with the help of 1 half crochet at the beginning of the 5^th row to the 2^nd module on top of the last double crochet of the 1^st module. Cut and fasten the yarn at the end of the 5^th row;

Make the next 7 modules in the same way as the 2^nd module, create 1 chain st for turning at the end of the 9^th module, then proceed to make the 2^nd row.

Second Row of Modules

* 10 chain sts, 1 half crochet in slip st of 2 modules of the lower row*; repeat from * to *, making the last half crochet in the base of the last double crochet;

Then, work in the same way as in the 1^st row.

Make 7 rows of modules and 1 row of double crochets at the end, don’t cut the yarn, and make 9 decreases (beginning of bra).

Then, continue work with a fancy pattern according to the scheme, starting from the 2^nd row.

Decrease 6 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides, make 4 rows without changes, then increase 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. At 25 cm from the beginning of the bra (= 25 rows), bind off 1 x 4 sts from both sides for armholes, then, 4 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. At 10 cm = 10 rows in height from the beginning of the armholes, cut and fasten the yarn.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, up to 25 cm = 25 rows in height from the beginning of the bra. For armholes, bind off 1 x 5 sts from both sides, then 4 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row. At 10 cm = 10 rows in height from the beginning of the armholes, bind off the central 43 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. Continue work on the remaining 4 side sts for each shoulder and work with double crochets for 20 cm = 20 rows. Cut and fasten the yarn.
