Crochet Project with Alpaca Yarn

You’ll Need:
5 skeins of white yarn (100% alpaca wool; 167m/50g);
Crochet hook size 3.5.
Size:
50 cm wide, 110 cm circumference.
Note:
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 6 + 2.
Instructions
Make 182 chain stitches and work around:
1st Row:
1 single crochet in the 2nd chain stitch from the crochet hook, * skip 2 chain stitches, 5 double crochets in the next chain stitch (= 1 shell), skip 2 chain stitches, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 single crochet in the last chain stitch (= totally, 30 shells).
2nd Row:
3 chain stitches increase, 2 double crochets in the 1st stitch, * 1 single crochet in the center of the 5 double crochets of the shell, 5 double crochets in the next single crochet*; repeat from * to *; finish with 1 single crochet in the center of the last shell, 2 double crochets in the 1st stitch of the previous row, slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch;
3rd Row:
1 single crochet in the 1st stitch (= center of shell), * 5 double crochets in the next single crochet, 1 single crochet in the center of the next shell*; repeat from * to *, finish with 5 double crochets in the last single crochet, finish the row with a slip stitch;
Rows 4th-50th:
Repeat 2nd - 3rd rows. Cut the yarn.
Fastening with Trefoils
1 single crochet, 6 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the 3rd chain stitch from the crochet hook, 3 chain stitches, 1 slip stitch in the same chain stitch, * 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet, 3 chain stitches, 1 slip stitch* in the same chain stitch; repeat from * to * one time, 3 chain stitches, skip 4 stitches.
Repeat the pattern around. Fasten the second edge in the same way.
