You’ll need:

350 (400) 450g of mélange grey Yak yarn (50% yak wool, 50% sheep wool; 130m/50g);

300 (350) 400g of pink Odeon yarn (42% mohair, 38% polyacryl, 20% polyamide;160m/50g);

Knitting needles 8 and 10;

5 buttons.

 

Size: S (M) L.

 

Note: work with 1 pink thread of yarn and 1 grey of yarn.

 

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib, knitting needles 8: the quantity of sts is odd. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st. RS rows: * 1 purl, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl; WS rows: as sts face.

Slipped sts pattern, knitting needles 10: the quantity of sts is odd. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st. RS rows: * 1 purl, slip 1purl, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl. WS rows: knit.

 

Stitches control: 10 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Cast on 55 (59) 63 sts and make 12 cm of rib. Then, work with pattern of slipped sts. In 80 cm = 112 rows (77 cm = 108 rows) 75,5 cm = 106 rows from rib, bind off 1 st from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 1 st in the next 2nd row = 51 (55) 59 sts. In 100 cm = 140 rows from rib, bind off all sts, the central 15 (17) 19 sts form neck-hole, outer 18 (19) 20 sts from each side – shoulders.

 

Left Front

Cast on 29 (31) 33 sts and make rib in the same way, as for back. Then, work with slipped sts pattern. In 68,5 cm = 96 rows from rib, bind off 1 st for neck-hole from left side and 8 (9) 10 x 1 st in every 4th row. At the same time, make arm-hole from the right side in the same way, as for back. Bind off the rest 18 (19) 20 sts of shoulder at the height of back.

 

Right Front

Make in symmetry to left front with 5 button-holes.

 

Sleeves

Cast on 26 (28) 30 sts and make 12 cm with rib, finish with 1 knit st, 1 selvage st. Then, work with slipped sts pattern, slip 1 purl in the end of row. At the same time from rib, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8th row (6 x 1 st in every 6th and 8th row by turn) 7 x 1 st in every 6th row from both sides = 36 (40) 44 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 34,5 cm = 48 rows from rib, bind off 1 st from both sides for sleeve cap. In 34,5 cm = 48 rows from rib, bind off the rest 8 (12) 16 sts.

 

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Sew buttons.
