Replaced Pattern of Shells A
The quantity of stitches is multiple 12 + 1 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme A. Start with chain stitches increase and stitches before the 1st arrow, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the 2nd arrow.
Groups of double crochets = shells in the 3rd and 6th rows, and single crochets in the 4th and 7th rows, made in chain stitches of the previous row. Make 1st-8th rows once, then repeat 3rd-8th rows.Replaced Pattern of Shells B
The quantity of stitches is multiple 12 + 9 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work in the same way as replaced pattern of shells A, but according to scheme B.
Stitches Control:
2 pattern repeats x 9 rows of replaced shells = 13 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 85 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Work with replaced pattern of shells A, making the 1st double crochet of the 1st row in the 5th stitch from the crochet hook – 7 shells in the 2nd row. In 65 cm = 58 rows from the beginning of work, decrease stitches from both sides for arm-holes. In 17 cm = 15 rows from the beginning of arm-hole, finish your work.
Left Front
Make 45 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Work with replaced pattern of shells B, making the 1st double crochet of the 1st row in the 5th chain stitch from the crochet hook. Make the arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for back. In 3 cm = 3 rows from the beginning of arm-hole, leave 1 pattern repeat from the left side, then decrease ½ pattern repeat to 6 rows. Finish your work at the height of back.
Right Front
Make in symmetry to the left front.
Sleeves
Make 61 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase. Work with replaced pattern of shells A, making the 1st double crochet in the 5th stitch from the crochet hook = 5 shells in the 2nd row. In 51.5 cm = 48 rows from the beginning of work, place markers from both sides. In 4.5 cm = 4 rows from markers, finish your work.
Assembly
Make seams, sew up sleeves. Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitch”. Fasten the edges of front with 5 rows of single crochets, making 6 button-holes on the right front. Sew up sleeves and attach buttons.
