Complete Crochet Sweater Instructions

You’ll Need:

450g of silver-grey yarn (42% wool, 26% polyester, 20% polyacryl, 12% alpaca; 270m/50g);

Crochet hook 5.5.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 15 + 1. Work according to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat (= rib), pattern repeat (rhombs pattern), and finish with sts after pattern repeat (= rib).

Stitches Control: 14 sts x 10.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back and Front

Make 151 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern. For front, in 65 cm = 68 rows from the set-up row, skip outer 38 sts and continue making back on the central 75 sts. In 85 cm = 89 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. Then, at first, make the left front on the last 38 sts. In 74.5 cm = 78 rows from the division of work, skip 8 sts along the left side for the neck-hole and bind off 8 x 1 st in the next row. Finish your work on the rest 22 sts of shoulder at the height of back. Finish the right front on the first 38 sts in reflection to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 32 chain sts + 1 chain st increase for each sleeve and work with the main pattern, starting with st from arrow A, pattern repeat x twice, and finishing with st before arrow B. In 8.5 cm = 9 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 st from both sides for sleeve chamfers, bind off 9 x 1 st in every 4^th row according to the pattern = 52 sts. In 46.5 cm = 49 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Sew up the sleeves. For the collar, fasten the neck-hole in the following way: continue the pattern on the first and last 8 sts of rib, and fasten the neck-hole with 59 sts of rib between them. At 20 cm height of collar, finish your work. For the belt, make 9 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with rib. In 130 cm from the set-up row, finish your work. Sew the button on waist level in the center of the left front.
