Knitting Instructions for a Stylish Cotton Garment

Garter stitch: knit.

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 6 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS row sts and yarn overs as purls.

Stitches Control:

15 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Cast on 88 (98) sts and make 2 cm of garter stitch, starting with 1 WS row. Then, work with the main pattern. In 58 (56) cm from the beginning of work, cast on 1 x 10 sts from both sides for sleeves = 108 (118) sts. Make cast on sts with the main pattern. In 71 cm from the beginning of work, divide your work in half and finish both sides separately, making 1 st of stockinette stitch from along edge of front neck-hole and after selvage st. In 75 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 54 (59) sts from both sides.

Left Front:

Cast on 48 (53) sts and make 2 cm of garter stitch, starting with 1 WS row. Then, work with the main pattern, for size M, starting with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finishing with selvage st. In 58 (56) cm from the beginning of work, cast on 10 sts from right side for sleeve = 58 (63) sts. Make cast on sts with main pattern. In 67 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 1 st from the left side for neck-hole, 1 x 1 st in the next 2^nd row, and 2 x 1 st in every 4^th row. In 75 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 54 (59) sts.

Right Front:

Make in symmetry to left front.

Assembly:

Fasten back neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets. Make shoulder, side, and sleeve seams.
