You’ll Need:

450 (500)g of brown (#12) Lampone Lana Grossa yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 135m/50g);

Crochet hooks 3.5 and 4.

S (M).

Relief Arch Edge

Work according to the scheme A. Start every row with the stated quantity of chain stitches increase and stitches before the 1st arrow, repeat the pattern between arrows, finish with stitches after the 2nd arrow.

Make the 1st-9th rows once, make the 2nd-9th rows twice = totally, 25 rows; then make 26th-65th rows once and repeat the 58th-65th rows.

Relief Edge

Work according to the scheme. Make the 1st row on the already made detail, join the yarn with a slip stitch. Start every row with the stated quantity of chain stitches increase to the 1st arrow, repeat the pattern between arrows, finish with stitches after the 2nd arrow. Make double crochet in the 3rd row and single crochet in the 5th row around stitches of the previous row. Make the 1st-5th rows.

Stitches Control

3.5 pattern repeats x 7.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 111 (123) chain stitches with crochet hook 3.5. Work with relief arch pattern = 18 (20) pattern repeats. In 33 cm = 25 rows, bind off 1 pattern repeat for better fitting according to scheme A in 26th-40th rows = 16 (18) pattern repeats. In 71 cm = 54 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 1 (2) pattern repeats according to the scheme in the 2nd (4th) rows= 14 pattern repeats. In 18.5 cm = 14 rows from the beginning of armholes, bind off the central 9 pattern repeats for neck-hole and crochet separately on 2.5 pattern repeats from each side. In 4 cm = 3 rows from the neck-hole, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 6.5 cm = 5 rows from the beginning of the armhole, leave the central 3 pattern repeats and crochet separately, bind off 3 pattern repeats more. Finish your work at the height of the back.

Assembly

Fasten the set-up row of back and front with relief edge using crochet hook 4, make 97 (109) single crochets in the 1st row = 8 (9) pattern repeats. Make all seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and relief arch pattern from 1st to 3rd rows with crochet hook 3.5, starting from shoulder seam. Finish every circular row with slip stitch. Fasten armholes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “crab stitch” with crochet hook 3.5.
