You’ll Need:

350g of brown Supersoft yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl; 130m/50g);

Crochet hook 3.5 and 4.

Size:

S.

Used Patterns

Rhombs pattern, crochet hook 4: the quantity of sts is multiple 16 + 3 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 1. Start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Make 1st-9th rows, then, repeat 2nd-9th rows.

Note:

There is a neck-hole, 2 central pattern repeats + 1 st with decreases from the inner edge, and also all the rows stated in scheme 2.

Stitches Control:

17 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 83 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with rhombs pattern = 4 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. Finish your work in 63.5 cm = 57 rows from the set-up row.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 46.5 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, divide your work in half in the next WS row and finish the right side due to scheme 2. In 63.5 cm = 57 rows from the set-up row, leave the rest 5 sts + unstated pattern repeat open and final sts. Make the left half due to scheme 2 in symmetry; for this, join the yarn in the center of the 43rd row from WS.

Sleeves

Make 49 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with rhombs pattern, start with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet, make 3 pattern repeats, finish with the 1st st after pattern repeat. For sleeve chamfers, increase initial and final sts during the next 26.5 cm = 24 rows = 3 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. Finish sleeves in 28 cm = 25 rows from the set-up row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves, connect the center of the sleeve with the shoulder seam, make side and sleeve chamfers. Fasten neck-hole, edges of sleeves, and lower edge with 1 circle row of single crochets and “crab stitch” with crochet hook 3.5.
