How to Crochet a Pullover with Picot Fringe

You’ll Need
300 (400)g of coper yarn (75% viscose, 25% polyester; 85m/25g);
Crochet hooks 3,5 and 4.
Size: S (L).
Used Patterns
Main Pattern
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 13 + 1. Work according to the scheme. Start every row with 3 chain stitches as an increase instead of the 1st double crochet, then repeat the pattern and finish with the stitches after the pattern repeat. Complete the 1st-8th rows once, then repeat the 3rd-8th rows.
Note: After the 1st row, the quantity of stitches is multiple 14 + 1. Make double crochets only around chain stitches of the previous row, starting from the 3rd row.
Fringe of Picots
Start every circle row with 1 chain stitch instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 slip stitch in chain stitch increase.
- 1st circle row: single crochets;
- 2nd circle row: *1 single crochet, 1 picot*; repeat from * to *.
Stitches Control
22 set-up stitches or 23.5 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 105 (131) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with crochet hook 3.5 and work with the main pattern = 113 (141) stitches after the 1st row. Starting from the 3rd row, continue work with crochet hook 4. In 64.5 cm = 58 rows (68 cm = 61 rows) from the set-up row, finish your work; the central 43 stitches form the neck-hole, and the outer 35 (49) stitches form the shoulders.
Front
Make in the same way as the back, but with a neck-hole. In 54.5 cm = 49 rows (58 cm = 52 rows) from the set-up row, skip the central 43 stitches and finish both sides separately on the remaining 35 (49) stitches of the shoulder at the height of the back.
Sleeves
Make 53 (66) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with crochet hook 3.5 and work with the main pattern = 57 (71) stitches after the 1st row. Starting from the 3rd row, continue work with crochet hook 4. For chamfers, increase 14 x 1 stitch in every row in 29 cm = 26 rows from the set-up row. Initially, make increases as double crochets and include them in the pattern = 85 (99) stitches. In 44.5 cm = 40 rows from the set-up row, finish the sleeve.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 2 circle rows of fringe of picots using crochet hook 3.5. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the lower edge of the pullover and edges of the sleeves with 2 rows of fringe of picots using crochet hook 3.5.
