Let's get acquanted!

Good day, my dear ladies!

I suggest you to get acquanted with one another in the comments to this post. Maybe you will find a new pen-friend!

I'm Susan. I'm 42, I live in LA with my family. Besides knitting I love travelling, reading interesting books and spend time with my dearest.

Merry Christmas everybody. I love knitting so much my family say I'm an aholic. I am disabled so ia am able to knit for 10 — 12 hrs a day but, I do come online to find out what other people are doing to curtail myself. I'm looking forward to being a member of this group.

Hi, my name is Sandi, and I am from the beautiful state of New Mexico. I am 72 years old and I love to crochet. I was taught by my mother at a very early age (5-6). I am always looking for new patterns. My main likes are ponchos, caps and afghans. Currently I have been searching for an open front poncho with sleeves. I have been unsuccessful in my search. Unfortunately even though I consider myself very skilled at crochet, I need to follow a pattern. My efforts at designing have not been successful. If anybody has a pattern that I could follow, I would greatly appreciate it.

Nice to meet you too. I’m afraid I don’t know how to make funny faces etc. What is your favourite thing to knit?

Hello everyone! My name is Carol and I'm a 57 yr young retired RN. My time now is spent taking care of my 2 1/2 yr old precocious grandson and my 3 dachshunds. I'm very happily married 20 yrs to my match.com match :D. I've finally had the time to return to knitting and crochet to fill my time in between visits to my kids and grandkids. I've also gotten back into thread crochet; current project is a table runner that's almost complete. as well as a knitted afghan for my daughter. I am attempting to teach myself needle tatting once current projects are complete.
