You’ll need:

6 skeins of Yarn Drops Paris 100% Cotton (50g/75m) in Yarn A Mustard (41);

2 skeins of Yarn B in Off White (17);

Crochet hook 5 mm;

Pillow pad;

4 buttons (Approx. 2,8 cm);

Tapestry needle;

Scissors.

Stitches control: 15 sts and 16 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.

Instructions

Front

Using yarn A make ch 60 + 1 for turning. Work sc in each st(s) across to work rows from 1 to 60 according to below chart. Every row starts with a chain which does not count as a stitch.

The most important thing: 1 square is 1 sc!

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Back Bottom

Using Yarn A make ch61.

Row1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn.

Row 2 – Row 60: ch1 (does not count as sc here and throughout), sc in each st(s) across, turn.

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Back Top

Using Yarn A make ch61.

Row1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn.

Row 2 – Row 8: ch1 (does not count as sc here and throughout), sc in each st(s) across, turn.

Row 9: ch1, sc in next 6 st(s), [ch3, skip 3 st(s), sc in next 12 st(s)] 3 times – 3 buttonholes created, ch3, skip 3 st(s), sc in next 6 st(s), turn.

Row 10 – Row 13: ch1, sc in each st(s) across, turn.

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Finishing

Block all the parts of your pillow to give them shape.

Sew all parts together. First, place front and back top together with right sides facing. With a tapestry needle and yarn A join wider sides of them together using a running stitch. Then place front and back bottom together with right sides facing and join 3 sides around with a running stitch.

Sew 1 button beneath each button hole on back bottom part.

Insert pillow pad.
