Special Stitches

dc/rf = Work 1 dc around the stem of the next stitch 2 rows below, inserting the hook around the stem from right to left to draw up loops.

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 3 + 3.

Row Instructions

1st Row (Right Side)

Sc into the 2nd ch from the hook and each chain to the end, turn.

2nd Row

Ch 1, sc into each sc to the end, turn.

3rd Row

Ch 1, work 1 sc into each of the first 2 sc, *1 dc/rf around the next sc 2 rows below, sc into each of the next 2 sc; repeat from * to the end, turn.

4th Row

Ch 1, sc in each sc to the end, turn.

5th Row

Ch 1, sc into each of the first 2 sc, *1 dc/rf around the stem of the next dc/rf 2 rows below, sc into each of the next 2 sc; repeat from * to the end, turn.

Repeat 4th and 5th rows.
