Isabella's Flower Pattern
This is a free pattern in US crochet terminology. Note that the flower consists of the first two rounds of a rose pattern, as seen in purple here. The UK crochet terms are as follows: sc = dc, hdc = htrb, dc = trb, trb = dbtr.
Instructions
Round 1
1. Chain 3 (counts as 1st dc throughout), then make 11 dc into the 1st chain. Slip stitch into the 3rd chain (12 dc total, seen here in light purple).
Round 2
2. * (sc, hdc, dc, 3 trb, dc, hdc, sc) into the next stitch, sc in the next stitch; repeat from * for a total of 6 times, and then slip stitch into the 1st sc (6 petals seen here in dark purple). Pinch and turn petals inside out so they puff and furl.
Future Rounds
The 3rd round is visible here in white, and the 4th round is depicted in green. I hope to share the pattern for the 3rd and 4th rounds very soon.
