Crochet Sweater Pattern with Instructions and Materials

750g of middle weight yarn (72% acryl, 25% wool, 3% viscose) in pearl-grey color;

Crochet hook 5;

5 buttons.

Instructions

Back

Make 70 chain sts, alternate 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets. At 34 cm height, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 60 sts and crochet straight.

Right Front

Make 39 chain sts and work, dividing the sts in the following way: 12 sts due to the scheme 1, 4 sts, alternating 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets, 16 sts due to the scheme 2, 7 sts alternating 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets. At 34 cm height, bind off 4 sts from side seams for arm-hole = 34 sts. At 45 cm height from the beginning of neck-hole, bind off 12 sts from the opposite side and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every row. At 54 cm height, after getting 14 sts for shoulder, finish your work.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Make 36 chain sts and 3 cm of single crochets. Continue, making the first and last 10 sts, alternating 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets, make the central 16 sts due to the scheme 2. At the same time, increase 9 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides = 54 sts. At 42 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 5 sts, 5 x 2 sts and 2 x 3 sts in every row from both sides = 12 sts and finish your work. Total height is about 51 cm.

Assembly

Make all the seams and sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes. Fasten the bottom edge with 9 rows of single crochets, fasten neck-hole with 5 rows due to the scheme 1. Sew buttons to the left front.
