Knitting Pattern Overview

The quantity of knit stitches is multiple of 16 + 4 + 2 selvage stitches. Start and finish every row with selvage stitches.

Row Instructions

1st Row

* Cross 4 knit stitches to the left (leave 2 stitches on the auxiliary needle in front of work, 2 knit stitches, 2 knit stitches from the auxiliary needle), 7 purls, cross 4 knit stitches to the right (leave 2 stitches on the auxiliary needle behind work, 2 knit stitches, 2 knit stitches from the auxiliary needle), 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, cross 4 stitches to the left.

2nd and All Even Rows

Due to the pattern, yarn overs are treated as purls.

3rd Row

* Cross 4 knit stitches to the left, purl2tog, 3 purls, purl2tog, cross 4 knit stitches to the right, 1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to *.

5th Row
