Crochet Pink-Grey Skirt and Cowl Set Instructions



You’ll Need
300 (350)g of sectional coloring pink-grey Romeo & Julia yarn (100% wool; 80m/50g) – for skirt, 150g – for cowl;
100 (150)g of grey Novata yarn (52% polyacryl, 46% polyamide, 2% wool; 105m/50g);
Crochet hook size 7;
Elastic lace 3 cm wide (length equals waist circumference).

Used Patterns
Main pattern: single crochets. Start every row with 1 extra chain stitch increase and finish with 1 single crochet in the 1st single crochet of the previous row.
Square: Make 5 chain stitches with Romeo & Julia yarn and circle them in the ring with the help of 1 slip stitch. Continue work according to the scheme with circle rows. Start every row with initial chain stitches according to the scheme and finish with 1 slip stitch in the last set-up chain stitch. Make 1st-5th rows x once, make 1 circle row with Romeo & Julia yarn and 1 circle row with Novata yarn alternating.
Note: For size M, make treble crochets instead of double crochets in the 5th circle row.
Stitches Control
Main pattern: 13 stitches x 15.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Square: 16 x 16 cm.
Instructions
Skirt
Make 18 squares and sew them into 2 details of 3 x 3 motifs with overseam stitch, inserting the crochet hook only in the back loop so that the stitches that aren’t caught are visible from both sides of the seam.
Assembly
For the belt, fasten the upper 63 (67) single crochets and work with the main pattern. At the same time, bind off 7 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from both sides for better shape. Finish your work on the remaining 49 (53) stitches in 11 cm from the beginning of fastening. Make side seams as described. Sew the elastic lace to the upper edge.
Cowl
Circumference: 64 (68) cm;
Height: 32 (34) cm.
Instructions
Make 8 squares, first sew them into a stripe of 2 x 4 squares, as previously described, then sew the stripe into a ring.
