You’ll Need:

450 (500) 550g of burgundy Cumba yarn (42% sheep wool, 30% polyacryl, 28% alpaca; 150m/50g);

150 (200) 200g of the same yarn, but in blue color;

Crochet hook 4.5;

5 dark-blue buttons.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of stitches is odd. Make 1 single crochet, 1 double crochet by turn, finish with 1 single crochet.

Replace the stitches after every row. Make 1 chain st instead of the 1st single crochet or 3 chain sts increase instead of 1 double crochet in the beginning of every row.

Colors Order A

12 blue rows, 2 burgundy rows, 2 blue rows, finish with burgundy yarn.

Colors Order B

12 burgundy rows, 2 blue rows, 2 burgundy rows, 12 blue rows = 28 rows.

Stitches Control

16 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 77 (85) 93 chain sts + 1 chain st increase with blue yarn and work with the main pattern due to the colors order A. In 11.5 cm = 16 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 1 st from both sides for better fitting, then, 3 x 1 st in every 6th row (after chain st/chain st increase and before the last st make 2 sts together) = 69 (77) 85 sts. In 30 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides for chamfers, then, 3 x 1 st in every 4th row due to the pattern, for that, make 2 sts in 1 base st after chain st increase and before the last st = 77 (85) 93 sts. In 41.5 cm = 58 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts from both sides for armholes, then, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 53 (61) 69 sts. In 61.5 cm = 86 rows (64.5 cm = 90 rows) 67 cm = 94 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. The central 17 (19) 21 sts form the neck-hole, outer 18 (21) 24 sts form the shoulders.

Left Front

Make 41 (45) 49 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern due to the colors order A. Make better fitting, chamfer, and arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for back = 29 (33) 37 sts. In 45.5 cm = 64 rows (47 cm = 66 rows) 48.5 cm = 68 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 1 st for neck-hole chamfer from the right side, then, 10 (11) 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row by making the last 2 sts together. Finish your work at the height of back on the last 18 (21) 24 sts of the shoulder.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 39 (47) 55 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern due to the colors order A. In 11.5 cm = 16 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides for chamfers, then, 4 x 1 st in every 6th row, 3 x 1 st in every 4th row and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 61 (69) 77 sts. In 44.5 cm = 62 rows from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, 2 x 2 sts and 7 x 1 st in every row, 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts in every row. In 60 cm = 84 rows from the set-up row, finish your work on the rest 5 (13) 21 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole chamfer with 42 (44) 46 single crochets, fasten back neck-hole with 17 (19) 21 single crochets with burgundy yarn, then, make a collar with the main pattern on 101 (107) 111 single crochets due to the colors order B. In 20 cm = 28 rows from the beginning of collar, finish your work. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the edges of the front to the beginning of the collar with 1 row of the main pattern with burgundy yarn, make 5 button-holes on the right front, sew buttons to the left front.
