Simple Crochet Pattern

Row 1: Ch a multiple of 2 (I chained 28 in my sample). Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc3tog starting in the same ch as the previous st and then continuing in the next 2 chs, ch 1. *Sc3tog starting in the same ch as last leg of previous sc3tog and then continuing in the next 2 chs, ch 1. Repeat from * across. Sc in same ch as last leg of the previous sc3tog. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch1. Sc3tog starting in same st as previous sc and then continuing in the top of the next sc3tog and ch 1 sp. Ch 1. *Sc3tog starting in the same st last leg of previous sc3tog and then continuing in the top of the next sc3tog and ch 1 sp, ch 1. Repeat from * across. Sc in same st as last leg of previous sc3tog

Repeat row 2 until piece is desired size.

* Sc3tog: (Insert hook into st indicated, yo (yarnover), pull up loop) repeat 2 more times in next 2 sts/chs. Yo, pull through all 4 loops on hook.
