​Knit Cabled Coat

You’ll need:

1,15 kg of yellow yarn (100% cotton; 175m/50g);

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: L-XXXL.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: due to the scheme (repeat 3^rd-10^th rows).

Stitches control: main pattern: 18 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Note: work in 3 threads of yarn.

Back

Cast on 103 sts and work with the main pattern. In 174 rows from the beginning of work, bind off the central 57 sts for the neck-hole, slip purls from knitting needles to the beginning of work. Make 4 more rows for every detail and bind off the sts of shoulder, slip purls.

Left Front

Cast on 53 sts and work with the main pattern. In 140 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 3 x 10 sts in every 2^nd row from left side, slip purls. In 180 rows from the beginning of work, bind off the sts of shoulder, slip purls.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Caston 63 stsandworkwiththemainpattern. In 112 rows from the beginning of work, bind off all the sts, slip purls.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves. Make side seams, leave 40 cmfromeachside. Make sleeve seams. Make 1 row of single crochets along the edges of front and side cuts. Make 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of double crochets with chain sts by turn along the neck-hole line. For straps, make 2 chains 60 cm long, fasten them with 1 row of double crochets and 1 chain st by turn. Sew the straps to the neck-hole line. Make 2 more straps 70 cm long. Insert them through the central relief row, step back 17 cm from bottom and upper part of sleeve.
