You’ll need:

500 (550) 600g of mélange Lana Grossa yarn (45% silk, 30% alpaca, 25% merino wool; 140m/50g);

Knitting needles 5 and 8;

Circular knitting needles 5 and 8;

Crochet hook 6;

Used Patterns

Rib A: 2 knit sts, 2 purls by turn;

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is odd. Work due to the scheme, on which RS and WS rows are stated. Repeat the pattern, finish with st after pattern repeat. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Decrease 1 st: make broaching in the beginning of row after the 1st st, make knit3tog in the end of row before the last st.

Stitches control: main pattern, knitting needles 8: 14 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 78 (86) 94 sts with knitting needles 5 and make 20 cm = 45 rows of rib A. Then, change to knitting needles 8 and work with main pattern, make knit2tog x 7 (9) 11 times in the 1st row = 71 (77) 83 sts. In 50 (49) 48 cm from rib, decrease 1 st from both sides for arm-holes and 6 (7) 9 x 1 st in every 2nd row, decrease 1 st = 57 (61) 63 sts. In 18 (19) 20 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off 8 (9) 10 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 1 x 9 (10) 10 sts in the next 2nd row. In 20 (21) 22 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the rest 23 sts.

Then, change to knitting needles 8 and work with the main pattern, make knit2tog x 2 (3) 4 times in the 1st row = 44 (47) 50 sts. In 45 cm of rob, decrease 1 st from left side for neck-hole chamfer, then, 16 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 3 x 1 st in every 4th row, decrease 1 st. Make arm-hole and shoulder chamfer from the right side in the same way, as for back.

Right Front

Sleeves

Cast on 46 sts with knitting needles 5 and make 15 cm = 35 rows of rib A. Then, change to knitting needles 8 and work with the main pattern, make knit2tog x once in the 1st row = 45 sts. For sleeve chamfers, increase 1 st in the 13th (9th) 9th rows from both sides, starting from rib and 3 (5) 6 x 1 st in every 14th (10th) 8th rows = 53 (57) 59 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 37 (36) 36 cm from rib, decrease 2 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 4 (4) 6 x 2 sts in every 2nd row and 0 (1) 0 x 1 st, decrease 2 sts and 1 st. In 42 (42) 43 cm from rib, bind off the rest 33 (35) 31 sts.
