Instructions
Back
Cast on 83 sts with the criss-cross method and work with rib A. In 38.5 cm = 108 rows from the set-up row, draw the selvage st through the next and previous st and leave the remaining 81 sts.
Left Sleeve with Front
Cast on 69 sts using the criss-cross method and work with rib A, starting and finishing with 2 knit sts between the selvage st. In 39.5 cm = 110 rows from the set-up row, bind off the first 32 sts, leave the next 3 sts for the collar, make the next 34 sts according to the ornament for the 1st front, and cast on 37 sts to the center and the 2nd front at the end of the row = 71 sts. Divide the sts in the next WS row as follows: 1 selvage st, 33 sts of rib A, starting and finishing with 3 purls, make 3 sts of rib B in the center (= 1 knit st, 1 purl, 1 knit st), 33 sts of rib A, starting and finishing with 3 purls, 1 selvage st. Bind off 1 x 2 sts for the corner in the next RS row, then 31 x 2 sts in every RS row as follows: make knit2tog before the central 3 sts and make broaching after the central 3 sts. In 23 cm = 64 rows from the beginning of front, leave the remaining 7 sts.
Right Sleeve with Front
Make symmetrically to the left sleeve with front.
Assembly
Sew the back edges of the sleeves to the upper edges of the back. Sew the set-up edge of the front to the lower edges of the back. Make sleeve seams. Include the previously left 81 sts of back in work for the collar, increase 1 st from both sides, then include the previously left 3 sts of sleeves from both sides. Work with rib B on all 89 sts, casting on 30 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from both sides along the chamfers, and incorporate the increased sts in the pattern, resulting in 209 sts. In 20 cm = 62 rows from the beginning of the collar, bind off the sts according to the ornament. Include the previously left 7 sts of the front in work and work with rib B between the selvage sts. In 30 cm, bind off all sts according to the ornament.
