Instructions for Rows

Right Side (RS) Row

In the RS row: slip the first selvage stitch without knitting, make the last selvage stitch a knit stitch.

Wrong Side (WS) Row

In the WS row: slip the first selvage stitch without knitting, make the last selvage stitch a purl.

First Row

1^st row: purl;

Second Row

2^nd row: 1 selvage stitch, *yarn over, knit two together (knit2tog) through front loop, yarn over, knit two together from the left-hand needle*, 1 selvage stitch;

Third Row

3^rd row: 1 selvage stitch, purl two together (pur2tog), 1 selvage stitch.

Repeating Rows

Repeat the 2^nd and 3^rd rows for continued pattern repetition.
