Row Instructions

Initial Row Setup

1^st row: 1 selvage stitch, *knit*, 1 selvage stitch;

Subsequent Rows

2^nd row: 1 selvage stitch, *purl*, 1 selvage stitch;

3^rd row: 1 selvage stitch, *knit*, 1 selvage stitch;

4^th row: 1 selvage stitch, *purl*, 1 selvage stitch;

5^th row: 1 selvage stitch, 1 purl, *slip 2 stitches without knitting, yarn in front of work, 1 purl*, 1 selvage stitch;

6^th row: 1 selvage stitch, *1 purl, 2 knit stitches*, 1 purl, 1 selvage stitch.

Repeat Instructions

Repeat the 1^st-6^th rows to continue the pattern.
