How to Crochet Double Crochet Rows

The quantity of sts is multiplied by 3.

RND 1: 1^st row (RS): 2 double crochets in the 3^rd chain st from the crochet hook, (skip the next 2 chain sts, 3 double crochets in the next chain st) across;

RND 2: 2^nd row: 3 chain sts (= 1 double crochet), turn, working in spaces between groups of double crochets, skip the first 3 double crochets, (3 double crochets in the next space between groups of double crochets) across, finish with double crochet in the last double crochet;

RND 3: 3^rd row: 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets in the 1^st double crochet, working in spaces between groups of double crochets, (3 double crochets in the next space) across, finish with 3 double crochets in the last double crochet.

Repeat the 2^nd-3^rd rows.
