Knitting needles size 2.5;

Crochet hook size 2.5.

Size:

Used Patterns

Vertical relief pattern: follow the scheme provided.

Wrong side – in right-side rows: purl stitches; in wrong-side rows – knit stitches.

Stitches Control:

23 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 143 stitches and work according to the following description:

  • 1 selvedge stitch,
  • 12 stitches of wrong side,
  • 23 stitches of relief pattern,
  • 24 stitches of wrong side,
  • 23 stitches of relief pattern,
  • 12 stitches of wrong side,
  • 1 selvedge stitch.

For waist fitting, make decreases by purling 2 together at the beginning and end of each section of purls, except for the side parts. Perform these actions 10 times in every 15th row. After 50 cm (165 rows) from the beginning of work, increase 1 stitch before and after selvedge stitches in every 8th row from both sides. In 71 cm (233 rows) from the set-up edge, bind off 2 stitches twice and 1 stitch once in every even row from both sides to create arm-holes.

To form loose shoulders, increase 1 stitch from both sides. Repeat the increase of 1 stitch 4 times. Then, repeat the increases in every 6th row for 1 stitch 5 times, and in every 8th row for 1 stitch once. In 16 cm (54 rows) from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off 5 stitches twice and 6 stitches twice from both sides for shoulder chamfers. Then, bind off the remaining 16 stitches. Simultaneously, bind off the central 28 stitches for the neck-hole and bind off 3 stitches once along the edge of the neck-hole in a row.

Front

Make in the same manner as the back, with the only difference being a deeper neck-hole. Divide your work into 2 halves 3 cm (7 rows) from the arm-holes and complete each half separately. For the neck-hole, bind off 3 stitches once and 2 stitches five times in every even row from the central edge, and 1 stitch five times in every 4th row. In 16 cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off 5 stitches twice and 6 stitches twice from both sides for shoulder chamfer. Then, bind off the remaining stitches.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of shrimp stitch.
