Instructions

Back

Cast on 143, 149, 155 sts. Work according to the following description: 1 selvedge st, 64, 67, 70 sts of stockinette stitch, 13 sts of relief pattern, 1 selvedge st. At 90 rows (40.5 cm), 86 rows (38.5 cm), or 82 rows (36 cm), bind off 2 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 st x 4 in every even row. You should have 53, 59, 65 sts remaining. At 130 rows (58 cm) of relief pattern, bind off the central 33 sts for the neck-hole and finish each part separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 sts x 1 in the 2nd row along the neck-hole edge. At 134 rows (60 cm) of relief pattern, bind off 7, 10, 13 sts for each shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, bind off the central 23 sts at 54 cm and execute 3 sts x 1, 2 sts x 1, 1 st x 3 in every even row.

Sleeves

Cast on 35, 37, 39 sts and make a placket: 2 rows (1.5 cm) of wrong-side pattern, followed by 2 rows of stockinette stitch. After that: 1 selvedge st, 10, 11, 12 sts of stockinette stitch, 13 sts of relief pattern, 10, 11, 12 sts of stockinette stitch, and 1 selvedge st. In 20 rows (9 cm) from the placket, increase 1 st x 5 in every 14th row from both sides. Then, increase 1 st x 7 in every 10th row, and 1 st x 9 in every 8th row, until obtaining 47, 53, 59 sts. At 106 rows (47 cm) from the placket, bind off: 1 st x 13, 2 sts x 1, 2 sts x 1, 1 st x 11, 1 st x 2, 2 sts x 2, 1 st x 9, 2 sts x 3 in every even row from both sides for the cap. Bind off 13, 15, 17 sts at 136 rows (60.5 cm).

Assembly

Sew up the shoulders. Lift 84 sts with circle knitting needles along the neck-hole and make 1 row of purls. Bind off the sts. Sew the sleeves and assemble the sleeve and side seams.
