23 sts x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm square.
Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 143 sts and knit according to the following description: 1 selvedge st, 12 sts of wrong-side pattern, 23 sts of relief pattern, 24 sts of wrong-side pattern, 23 sts of relief pattern, 24 sts of wrong-side pattern, 23 sts of relief pattern, 12 sts of wrong-side pattern, 1 selvedge st.
For waist fitting, decrease sts - purl2tog at the beginning and end of the purl section, except side parts. Make this decrease 10 times in every 15th row. In 50 cm (165 rows) from the beginning of work, increase 1 st in every 8th row before and after selvedge sts from both sides. In 71 cm (233 rows) from the set-up row, bind off 2 sts x 1 and 1 st x 1 from both sides in every even row to create arm-holes.
To create the lowered shoulder, increase 1 st from both sides. Repeat the increase of 1 st every 4 rows, then repeat increases in every 6th row 1 st x 5 and in every 8th row 1 st x 1. In 16 cm (54 rows) from the beginning of the arm-holes, bind off 5 sts x 2 and 6 sts x 2 from both sides for shoulder chamfer. At the same time, bind off the central 28 sts for the neck-hole and 3 sts x 1 along the neck-hole line in a row.
Front:
Make in the same way as the back. The only difference is a deeper neck-hole. For this, divide your work in half 3 cm (7 rows) from the beginning of the arm-holes and knit each part separately.
For the neck-hole, bind off 3 sts x 1 in all even rows from the central edge, then 2 sts x 5 and 1 st x 5 in every 4th row. In 16 cm from the beginning of the arm-hole, bind off 5 sts x 2 and 6 sts x 2 for the shoulder chamfer from both sides. Finally, bind off the remaining sts.
Assembly:
Make all seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of "shrimp stitch" using the crochet hook.
