How to Create a Beautiful Crochet Tunic and Flap Bag

You’ll Need:
250g of purple 100% cotton yarn (320m/75g);
100g of black yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 250m/100g);
Crochet hooks 1.25 and 3;
6 cm of adhesive tape.
Size: S.
Instructions
Tunic
At first, make 29 squares according to the scheme: 15 squares for the back and 14 squares for the front.
Assembly
Connect the squares together while making the last row according to the scheme. For the side cuts, leave 1 lower square open from both sides. For the armholes, leave 1.5 upper squares open from both sides for both the back and front. Fasten the armholes with 5 rows of single crochet stitches, the neck-hole with 4 rows of single crochet stitches, and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” Finally, fasten the lower edge and side cuts with 5 rows of single crochet stitches.
Bag with Flap
Make a chain of 18 cm long with black yarn in 2 threads and create 42 cm of single crochet stitches. Make 2 squares according to the scheme with purple yarn and connect them from one side.
Fasten the obtained rectangle with 1 row of single crochet stitches. Then, fasten the long sides of the rectangle according to the scheme. The size of the rectangle is 28 x 18 cm.
Assembly
Sew the obtained purple rectangle to the 2/3 black detail, which will serve as the flap and back side of the bag. Fold the remaining 14 cm of the black detail inside under the flap. Create the sides from both ends in the following manner: 1 row of “shrimp stitch” and 3 rows of single crochet from the right side.
Sew the sides to the back part of the bag. Twist a cord of 20 threads of yarn by measuring threads of 3 m 10 cm long, twisting them, folding in half, and making a knot.
Sew the cord to the sides of the bag, leaving the non-sewn portion as the handle. Finally, sew 2 pieces of adhesive tape to the inner side of the flap of the lower part of the back and to the bag itself, to serve as a fastener.
