You’ll Need:

100% cotton yarn of one or several colors;

Crochet hook 1.25.

Instructions

Start with 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring by means of slip st.

Rows

1st Row: 15 double crochets in the ring, make 3 chain sts instead of 3 chain sts;

2nd Row: 2 double crochets in every crochet;

3rd Row: fillet row, alternate 1 double crochet and 1 chain st.

Attach another color yarn.

4th Row: double crochets;

5th Row: fillet pattern;

6th and 7th Rows: are made with white yarn and make 1 row of crochets and 1 row of fillet row, 2 chain sts between crochets;

8th-10th Rows: are made with green yarn. Double crochets, make arches of chain sts and make 3 double crochets in each arch. In the fillet row, make 2 chain sts between double crochets;

11th-12th Rows: 2 double crochets in the arches of chain sts with white yarn, add 2 chain sts between crochets in the fillet row;

13th Row: repeat the previous row with green yarn;

Make bottom until you get the needed diameter.

Flaps

Make 1 row of single crochets, where each of them catches the previous half loop. Make 1 double crochet in every 5th top, several ordinary rows, increase 2 double crochets in every 7th st and again double crochet. Continue working this way until you reach the needed size of flaps.
