How to Create a Beautiful American Flag Crochet Blanket Using This Stitch Pattern

This stitch pattern will be used in one more post today (American Flag Crochet Blanket). You can make an ideal blanket or light afghan with this stitch.

Materials Required

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 12 + 3.

Instructions

Foundation Chain

Ch 99.

Row 1

1 dc in the 4th ch from the hook (counts as 2 dc).

1 dc in next 3 ch. (Dc2tog) twice. *1 dc in next 3 ch. 2 dc in next 2 ch. 1 dc in next 3 ch. (Dc2tog) twice. Repeat * to the last 4 ch. 1 dc in next 3 ch. 2 dc in the last ch. Turn.

Row 2

Ch 3 (counts as dc, here and throughout), 1 dc in the same st. 1 dc in next 3 sts. (Dc2tog) twice. *1 dc in next 3 sts. 2 dc in next 2 sts. 1 dc in next 3 sts. (Dc2tog) twice. Repeat * to the last 4 sts. 1 dc in next 3 sts. 2 dc in the last st. Turn.

Continue the Pattern

Repeat the last row until you are satisfied with the length. Fasten off and weave in ends.
