How to Crochet a Car Toy with Wheels
You'll need:
- 100% cotton yarn (220m/100g);
- Crochet hook 1.5.
Instructions
Make a chain of 22 chain sts and start crocheting from the 2nd st from the crochet hook.
1st - 6th rows: 21 single crochet, 1 chain st; turn your work.
7th row: 6 single crochets, 1 triple treble crochet in 6th and 7th sts each, 1 single crochet in the last but one st (20), slip st in the last st, 1 chain st and turn your work.
8th row: 9 single crochets under chain st between triple treble crochet and 2 single crochets, 9 single crochets under next chain sts.
Then, crochet all the rest sts with slip sts.
Fasten the bottom and sides of your car with single crochets, on the corners (turns) crochet in 1 st - 1 single crochet, 1 chain st, 1 single crochet.
Wheels
Crochet 12 single crochets in a circle, replace 1st crochet with 3 chain sts.
Finish row with slip st of another colour of yarn.
Crochet next row with 2 single crochets in 1 st (increase).
Sew the wheels.
