Materials
- 4 meters white DK yarn
- 3 meters yellow DK yarn
- 16.5 meters of contrasting DK yarn for the background
- Matching crochet hook - I have used a 3mm
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Gauge: 19 stitches and 10 rows to measure 10 x 10 (4x4in) over dc sts.
Size: For my Crochet Flower Granny Square, I have used a 3mm hook with DK cotton yarn creating a crochet granny square of 10 x 10cm.
Notes
The flower is worked in the round using the front loops to make the petals first. Next, the center yellow trumpet is added to the first row of the flower using fpdc. The back loops are then used to create the granny square.
Crochet Stitches
To make my crochet daffodil, you will be using a few advanced crochet stitches including: Treble Crochet (tr), Double Treble Crochet (Dtr), and Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC).
