Ch 1, sc and ch 1, and dc 1 into the same space as the sc and ch 1, dc 2 in each dc around, sl st to join in top of ch 1 (24 sts)
Round 3
Ch 1, sc and ch 1, and dc 2 into next dc, (dc 1, dc 2,) sl st to join in top of ch 1 (36 sts)
Round 4
Ch 1, sc and ch 1, dc 1 in next dc, dc 2 in next dc, (dc 1, dc 1, dc 2, work 2 dc in next dc) sl st to join in top of ch 1 (48 sts)
Round 5
Ch 1, sc and ch 1, dc 1 in each of next 2 dc, dc 2 in next dc, (dc 1, dc 1, dc 1, dc 2) sl st to join in top of ch 1 (60 sts)
