Dc3tog: This stitch is worked over 3 dc sts. To make the stitch: *Yo, insert hook into next st, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps on hook; rep from * 2 times. (4 loops on hook). Yo and pull through all lps on hook.

Dc4tog: This stitch is worked over 4 dc sts. To make the stitch: *Yo, insert hook into next st, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps on hook; rep from * 3 times. (5 loops on hook) Yo and pull through all lps on hook.

Instructions

Ch 4, join with sl st in first ch to form circle.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in same ch as join and into each ch around; join with sl st in first sc. [8 sc]

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st as join and into each st around; join with sl st in first sc. [16 sc]

Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 3 sts, ch 3, *dc in next 4 sts, ch 3; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc (3rd ch). [16 dc & 4 ch-3 lps]

Rnd 4: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next 3 sts, *ch 2, (4 dc, ch 2) in next ch-3 sp**, dc in next 4 sts; rep from * around ending last rep at **; join with sl st in first dc. [32 dc and 8 ch-2 sps]

Rnd 5: Ch 2, dc3tog over next 3 sts (Note: ch 2 and dc3tog count as first dc4tog.) Ch 2, *(4 dc, ch 2) in next ch-2 sp**, dc4tog over next 4 dc, ch 2; rep from * around ending last rep at **; join with sl st in first dc4tog. [32 dc, 16 ch-2 sps and 8 dc4tog]
