How to Crochet a Beautiful Cardigan

Instructions

Make 180 chain stitches and work with double crochets following the pattern design. Make 3 chain stitches at the beginning of every row. Fold your work in half along the line. Sew the sides together, 20 cm from the edge of the work.

Next Row Instructions

* 5 double crochets, skip 2 stitches from the previous row, 3 chain stitches*, followed by double crochets, making 4 double crochets in the arches of the 3 chain stitches.

Lace Construction

Make the lace according to scheme 1. Fasten it along the edge with the following pattern: * 1 single crochet, chain of 4 chain stitches, skip 3 base stitches*.

Connecting the Sides

Draw the cord (a chain of 60 chain stitches) to connect the sides of the cardigan. Attach flower buds to the ends of the cord. For each flower bud, roll a piece of polyester batting of 2 cm height and 0.8 cm width. Make 3 chain stitches, circle the ring and fasten the bud with circular rounds of single crochets. At 2 cm height from the beginning of the work, make a narrowing by making a single crochet in every 2^nd stitch of the previous row.

Finishing Touches

Attach the buds to the cord. Fasten the yarn at the end of every row with the pattern: * 1 single crochet, skip 1 stitch of the previous row, 5 chain stitches*.
