How to Knit a Stylish Cotton Sweater


You’ll Need
300g of brown 100% cotton yarn in 2 threads;
Straight knitting needles size 4.5.

Size: M.
Note
To make 1 size larger/smaller, you should increase/decrease 2 cm in width and 1 cm in length.
Used Patterns
Garter Stitch: knit sts;
Main Pattern: The quantity of sts is multiple of 12:
1st-6th Rows:
2 knit sts, *1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 4 knit sts, purl3tog, 4 knit sts, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 3 knit sts.
7th-12th Rows:
2 knit sts, purl2tog, *4 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 4 knit sts, purl3tog*; repeat from * to *, make the last 13 sts in the following way: 4 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 4 knit sts, purl2tog, 2 knit sts.
Repeat 1st-12th rows.
Stitches Control
19 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back/Front
Cast on 86 sts and make 32 cm of garter stitch; then, work with the main pattern, increasing 1 x 15 sts in the 1st row, making the first and last 2 sts with garter stitch. In 52 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams (for 13 cm from each side) and side seams.
