Instructions
Ch 30, sl st into 10th ch from the end. The ten sts from the end will be the inside ch to form the bell clapper and the loop made with the remaining chs is for the hanging loop.
Round 1
hdc 4 in the same st where you ended the loop. Now you’ve met up with the chs going down for the bell and up for the loop, make the next 4 hdc in the same st but on the other side of those chs. In doing this, you should have a loop attached on both sides so it hangs straight.
Round 2
Working in rnds, 2 hdc all around. (16 sts)
Round 3
*hdc 3, 2 hdc* (20 sts)
Rounds 4-7
hdc all around (20 sts)
Round 8
*2 hdc, hdc 1* (30 sts), 1 sc, 1 sl st
Round 9
To make scalloped edging *3 sc, sl st 1* all around and finish off.
When done, attach the bell to the inside clapper and it's ready to hang on the tree!
